The 3D TV zooms the squashed frame up to the original resolution.
But nevertheless you loose the half of the original resolution.
Most of the 3D TV models are able to "plug and play" these side by side files.
Copy the file onto an USB stick plug in and watch.
You can play it also with every HD player, which supports 1080p output.
So this format is very easy to handle with most of the new 3D TV's.
